Since we’ve opened, we’ve been dedicated to changing the lives of people one person at a time, through martial arts, education and coaching. We strive to provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for all students and family members. We take pride in creating an environment for individuals to achieve, develop and succeed in their personal goals.
We strongly believe that martial arts can be for everyone, regardless of age, gender or experience levels. Throughout all of our programs, students will not only learn the necessary skill sets to protect themselves, we stand behind our realistic and practical approach, confident it will enable every member to achieve greatness and live their best life..

Senior Master Troy Auman Chief Instructor & Owner
Senior Master Auman is a 7th-degree black belt, Internationally Certified Master Instructor, and a Level 3 Certified Instructor with Krav Maga Alliance.
He has been training since 1990 and has been running the Evolution Training Center since 1997. He has also been a licensed school teacher with Manhattan Catholic Schools since 1999 (retired 2021).
Master Auman’s martial arts training consists of Taekwondo, Krav Maga, Haganah, Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Hapkido, Tai Chi, Multiple Weapons, XMA (Extreme Martial Arts), Hyper Pro Training, S.H.A.R.P. (Sexual Harassment Assault Rape Prevention), Joint Manipulation Pressure Point Control Tactics, Gun and Knife Defense, Disruptive Student Management and the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program.
Master Auman is also a co-author of the Amazon.com #1 Best Selling book ‘BULLYPROOF: Unleash the Hero in Your Kid’ and ‘ Safeguard: Real Self-Defense for a Changing World’.
